Abstract

Description
(1)医療装置であって、可撓性部材と、前記可撓性部材の先端部に機能的に結合されたエンドエフェクタと、前記可撓性部材の基端部に機能的に結合されたハンドルとを含み、前記ハンドルが前記可撓性部材を介して前記エンドエフェクタを動作させるためのアクチュエータを含み、前記ハンドルが片手で保持できるように適合されており、前記アクチュエータが前記ハンドルを保持している前記同じ手で操作できるように適合されており、前記同じ手の親指及び人差し指が自由で前記可撓性部材を保持できることを特徴とする医療装置。
(2)前記エンドエフェクタが、生検鉗子、把持鉗子、外科用鋏、エクストラクター、洗浄用パイプ、針状注入器、非電動スネア、及び電気外科用スネアからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の装置。
(3)前記可撓性部材が少なくとも0.5mの長さを有することを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の装置。
(4)前記可撓性部材が、少なくとも1.0mの長さを有する可撓性シャフトを含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の装置。
(5)親指及び人差し指を用いないで前記アクチュエータを操作するための取扱い説明セットを更に含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の装置。
(7)片手で可撓性内視鏡装置を操作するためのシステムであって、ハンドルと、前記ハンドルを片手で操作するための取扱い説明セットを含み、前記ハンドルが、片手で把持できるように適合されたハウジングと、前記ハウジングを保持する手で前記内視鏡装置の先端部に結合されたエンドエフェクタを操作できる、前記ハウジングに接続されたアクチュエータとを含み、前記ハウジングを保持する前記同じ手の少なくとも親指及び人差し指が自由で、前記装置の可撓性シャフトを保持したり放したりできることを特徴とするシステム。
(8)前記取扱い説明セットが、前記人差し指と前記親指ではなく少なくとも1つの他の指と手の平とで前記ハンドルを保持する指示を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(7)に記載のシステム。
(9)前記取扱い説明セットが、前記ハンドルを保持している前記同じ手の前記親指と前記人差し指を用いて前記ハンドルから延出した可撓性部材を保持する指示を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(7)に記載のシステム。
(10)前記取扱い説明セットが、前記ハンドルを保持している前記同じ手の前記親指及び前記人差し指を用いて可撓性部材を前進させる指示を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(7)に記載のシステム。
(12)片手で可撓性内視鏡装置を操作するためのハンドルであって、ハウジングと、親指を用いないで押圧できるように適合されたアクチュエータと、少なくとも部分的に前記ハウジング内に配置された、前記アクチュエータに機能的に結合された作動機構とを含み、前記アクチュエータを押圧することで、前記可撓性内視鏡装置の先端部に結合されたエンドエフェクタを作動させることができることを特徴とするハンドル。

Claims (9)
- 片手で使用するように適合された内視鏡装置に使用するハンドルであって、
使用者の手の平で保持できるように適合されたハウジングと、
前記内視鏡装置に結合されたエンドエフェクタを作動させるためのアクチュエータとを含み、
前記アクチュエータを前記同じ手の1または複数の指で操作することができ、前記同じ手の親指及び人差し指の何れも用いないで前記アクチュエータを操作できることを特徴とするハンドル。 - 前記アクチュエータが、そのアクチュエータを押圧することで作動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハンドル。
- 前記アクチュエータがレバーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハンドル。
- 前記ハンドルが、シリンジプランジャー、ピストルグリップ、及び鋏グリップからなる構成要素の群から選択される何れの構成要素も含まないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハンドル。
- 更に、前記手の指で積極的に保持しなくても前記ハンドルを前記手で保持できる装置を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハンドル。
- 前記装置が、前記ハウジングの基端部から延出した指用リングを含み、前記指用リングが前記ハウジングに対して旋回できるように支持されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のハンドル。
- 親指及び人差し指を用いないで前記アクチュエータを操作するための取扱い説明セットを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハンドル。
- 前記取扱い説明セットが、前記ハンドルが取り付けられた医療装置に直接付属していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のハンドル。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記ハウジングに向かって押圧するように適合されたレバーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハンドル。
