Abstract

上述した方法による、多重搬送波変調を用いる無線システムにおいて、複数のユーザ端末に対して副搬送波周波数割振りを実施する無線資源マネージャエンティティとによって達成される。

Claims (16)
- エアインターフェースのダウンリンクチャネル(DC)およびフィードバックチャネル(FC)を介して、データ伝送、信号制御、およびリンク適合のために複数のユーザ端末(UE)と通信するようにネットワーク(N)が構成されるとともに、いくつかの端末(UE)が、端末自体の特定のチャネル転送機能(Hf)を評価する、OFDMなどの多重搬送波変調を用いる無線システムにおいて、ユーザ端末(UE)に副搬送波周波数を割り振る方法であって、
ある特定の期間に渡って端末(UE)のチャネル転送機能(Hf)評価が起こると、端末が、端末のチャネル転送機能(Hf)が予測可能であるかどうか、また、端末が周波数選択性副搬送波割振り方法に関与したいかどうかを、端末のフィードバックチャネル(FC)を介してネットワーク(N)に報告し、
周波数選択性割振り手順に関与する端末(UE)の数、端末それぞれのトラフィック要求、および端末のチャネル転送機能(Hf)特性についての情報に応じて、ネットワークが、使用可能な副搬送波周波数セットを、少なくとも2つの論理ブロックまたは周波数サブセット(SU1、SU2)に区分し、
関与端末(UE)が、端末の、測定されたチャネル転送機能(Hf)および干渉ノイズ評価についての情報を、フィードバックチャネル(FC)を介してネットワーク(N)に折り返し報告し、
ネットワーク(N)が、この情報に従い、チャネル転送機能(Hf)についての、端末のフィードバック情報に従って、伝送に有用な副搬送波を前記端末に割り当てることによって、少なくとも1つの周波数の第1のサブセット(SU1)の副搬送波周波数を、周波数選択性割振り方式に従って関与端末に割り振り、周波数インタリーブ方式に従って、それ以外の端末に、少なくとも1つの第2の周波数サブセット(SU2)の副搬送波周波数を割り振ることを特徴とする方法。 - ネットワーク(N)が、端末に割り振られる副搬送波用の変調方式をさらに決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 関与端末(UE)が、端末の測定されたチャネル転送機能(Hf)および/または干渉ノイズ評価についての情報を、圧縮符号化された形で、フィードバックチャネル(FC)を介してネットワーク(N)に折り返し報告することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 関与端末(UE)が、特定のパイロット副搬送波についての量子化された測定値を、ネットワークに折り返し報告することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 関与端末(UE)が、チャネルインパルス応答の評価された遅延および振幅値を、量子化された形で、ネットワークに折り返し報告することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 関与端末(UE)が、それぞれのどの変調方式が、どの周波数において伝送に適合しており、どの周波数において適合していないかを示す、副搬送波周波数の軸に渡る整数関数を、ネットワーク(N)に折り返し報告することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記整数関数が、ランレングス符号化などのソース符号化アルゴリズムによって、圧縮された形で送信されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- ネットワーク(N)が、ユーザ/サービス要求またはユーザ/サービス優先度のような要因を考慮して、周波数選択性方式に関与する端末(UE)に対して副搬送波周波数をさらに割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- ユーザ端末(UE)が周波数選択割振り方法に関与するかどうかについての情報、ならびに/あるいはユーザ端末のチャネル転送機能(Hf)および/または干渉ノイズ評価についての情報を受信する手段と、使用可能な副搬送波周波数セットを少なくとも2つの論理ブロックまたは周波数サブセット(SU1、SU2)に区分する手段と、チャネル転送機能(Hf)についての、端末のフィードバック情報に従って、伝送に有用な副搬送波を前記端末に割り当てることによって、周波数選択性割振り方式に従って、少なくとも1つの周波数の第1のサブセット(SU1)の副搬送波周波数を関与端末に割り振る手段とを備えることを特徴とするネットワーク要素(NE)。
- 端末に割り振られる副搬送波用の変調方式を決定する手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のネットワーク要素(NE)。
- ある特定の期間に渡って端末のチャネル転送機能(Hf)および干渉ノイズを評価し、端末の、測定されたチャネル転送機能(Hf)および/または干渉ノイズ評価についての前記情報を、好ましくは圧縮符号化された形で、フィードバックチャネル(FC)を介してネットワーク(N)に折り返し報告する手段を備えるユーザ端末(UE)。
- ネットワーク要素(NE)と情報を交換する手段を備える無線資源マネージャエンティティであって、前記手段が、ユーザ端末(UE)が周波数選択割振り方法に関与するかどうかについての情報、ならびにユーザ端末のチャネル転送機能(Hf)および/または干渉ノイズ評価についての情報を受信する手段と、使用可能な副搬送波周波数セットを少なくとも2つの論理ブロックまたは周波数サブセット(SU1、SU2)に区分する手段と、チャネル転送機能(Hf)についての、端末のフィードバック情報に従って、伝送に有用な副搬送波を前記端末に割り当てることによって、周波数選択性割振り方式に従って、少なくとも1つの周波数の第1のサブセット(SU1)の副搬送波周波数を関与端末に割り振る手段とを備えることを特徴とする無線資源マネージャエンティティ。
- 端末に割り振られる副搬送波用の変調方式を決定する手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の無線資源マネージャエンティティ。
- エアインターフェースのダウンリンクチャネル(DC)およびフィードバックチャネル(FC)を介して、ネットワーク(N)が、データ伝送、信号制御、およびリンク適合のために複数のユーザ端末(UE)と通信するとともに、いくつかの端末(UE)が、端末自体の特定のチャネル転送機能(Hf)を評価する、OFDMなどの多重搬送波変調を用いる無線システムにおいて、ユーザ端末(UE)に副搬送波周波数を割り振る方法であって、
ある特定の期間に渡ってユーザ端末(UE)のチャネル転送機能(Hf)評価が起こると、端末(UE)が、端末の測定されたチャネル転送機能(Hf)についての情報を、フィードバックチャネル(FC)を介してネットワーク(N)に折り返し報告し、
ネットワーク(N)が、この情報に従い、チャネル転送機能(Hf)についての、端末のフィードバック情報に従って、伝送に有用な副搬送波を前記端末に割り当てることによって、少なくとも1つの周波数サブセット(SU1)の副搬送波周波数を、周波数選択性割振り方式に従って端末(UE)に割り振ることを特徴とする方法。 - 端末(UE)が、干渉ノイズ評価についての情報をネットワーク(N)にさらに報告することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
- フィードバックチャネルを介して端末(UE)からネットワーク(N)に送信される前記情報が、圧縮符号化された形で送信されることを特徴とする請求項14または15に記載の方法。
