Abstract
【解決手段】電池ケース1の開口を塞ぐ蓋7と、蓋7に設けた端子取付孔13と、端子取付孔13に絶縁パッキング9を介して嵌合する負極端子11とを有する。負極端子11は、頭部19と、頭部19の下面につながるテーパ部21と、テーパ部21の下方に突設した軸部22とを含む。絶縁パッキング9は、負極端子11の軸部22が挿通する挿通孔24を有する筒部25と、負極端子11の頭部19と蓋7との間に介在するフランジ部26とを備える。負極端子11のテーパ部21の上端側の外径寸法は、組み立て前の自由状態で挿通孔24の上端開口の内径寸法よりも大きく設定してある。上下方向の圧縮で負極端子11をかしめることで、テーパ部21の外周面は、絶縁パッキング9の挿通孔24の上端開口周縁を斜め下方向に押圧して、挿通孔24の上端開口周縁を押し潰した状態で密着する。

Claims (4)
- 電池ケースの開口上面を塞ぐ蓋と、前記蓋に貫通状に設けた端子取付孔と、前記端子取付孔に絶縁パッキングを介して嵌合する出力端子とを有しており、
前記出力端子は、前記蓋の上面に露出する頭部と、外周面が下すぼまり状に傾斜するテーパ面に形成されて、前記頭部の下面につながるテーパ部と、前記テーパ部の下方に突設した軸部とを含み、
前記絶縁パッキングは、前記出力端子の前記軸部が挿通する挿通孔を有する筒部と、前記筒部の上端外周に設けられて前記出力端子の前記頭部と前記蓋との間に介在するフランジ部とを備えており、
組み立て前の自由状態において、前記出力端子の前記テーパ部は、少なくとも上端側の外径寸法が前記絶縁パッキングの前記挿通孔の上端開口の内径寸法よりも大きく設定されており、
上下方向の圧縮で前記出力端子をかしめることにより、前記テーパ部の外周面が、前記絶縁パッキングの前記挿通孔の上端開口周縁を斜め下方向に押圧して押し潰した状態で密着することを特徴とする密閉型電池。 - 前記出力端子の前記頭部の下面中央と前記テーパ部との間に段部が設けられており、
前記段部は、その外径寸法が前記端子取付孔の上端開口の内径寸法よりも大きくて、前記段部の下面が前記絶縁パッキングを介して前記端子取付孔の開口周縁の上面に対向するよう設定されている請求項1記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記絶縁パッキングの前記筒部の外周面の上端と、前記フランジ部の下面とは、外周面の外径寸法が上側ほど大きくなるテーパ面に形成された斜面部でつながっており、
組み立て前の自由状態において、前記斜面部は、少なくとも上端側の外径寸法が前記蓋の前記端子取付孔の上端開口の内径寸法よりも大きくなるよう設定されており、
上下方向の圧縮で前記出力端子をかしめることにより、前記斜面部の外周面が、押し潰された状態で前記蓋の前記端子取付孔の上端開口周縁に密着している請求項1又は2記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記蓋の上面には、前記絶縁パッキングの前記フランジ部が嵌合する受座が凹み形成されており、
前記出力端子をかしめた状態で、前記出力端子の前記頭部のみが前記蓋の上方へ突出するように設定してある請求項1又は2又は3記載の密閉型電池。
