Abstract
Description
ムや、消石灰などを添加し、フッ化カルシウムを晶析させ分離する方法が一般的
である。そして、通常の場合、フッ化カルシウムを添加した後、これを硫酸アルミニウムなどのアルミ系、又は塩化第二鉄などの鉄系の無機凝集剤により凝集沈殿処理し、固液分離を確実にすると共に残留するフッ素をさらに除去している。しかし、このような薬品を添加する方法によって排水中のフッ素濃度を8mg/L以下とするのは困難であり、フッ素を含まない排水等で希釈して対応せざるを得ないのが実状である。
実に適用できるフッ素イオンを含む排水の処理方法を提供することにある。
1.フッ素イオンを含有する排水にカルシウム含有化合物を添加した後、下記の式(I)、式(II)および式(III)で表される構成単位からなる三元系重合体で、x:y:zが99.8:0.1:0.1〜60:30:10の範囲を有する水溶性重合体を添加することを特徴とするフッ素含有排水の処理方法。
施例により制限されるものではない。
半導体工場から排出されるフッ素イオンを320mg/L含むpH3.0の排水の処理を行なった。排水150mlを採取し、フッ素イオンに対して2.5当量(1550mg/L)の消石灰を攪拌下加え30分間作用させた後、硫酸アルミニウムを200mg/L(無水物換算)を加えて、更に各構成単位存在比の異なる本発明の三元系重合物10mg/Lを添加して15分間作用させた。10分間静置後に上澄みのフッ素濃度をJIS K 0102に定めるランタンアリザリンコンプレキソン吸光光度法で測定した。なお、式に示される三元系重合物は、Rが水素、即ちアクリル系重合物を使用した。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1と同様にして、本発明の三元系重合体と、アルギン酸ナトリウム及びカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム塩の併用効果を試験した。三元系重合体は実施例1の重合体(C)を使用し、アルギン酸ナトリウムはマンヌロン酸/グルクロン酸比1.5以下のブロック重合物を、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム塩はエーテル化度1.1のものを使用した。三元系重合物とアルギン酸ナトリウム又はカルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム塩は、硫酸アルミニウム添加後、又は、消石灰添加後及び硫酸アルミニウム添加後にそれぞれ添加した。結果を表2に示す。
実施例1と同様にして、本発明化合物を使用しない場合について実施した。消石灰添加量、硫酸アルミニウム添加量を増加させた場合、高分子凝集剤にアクリルアミド単位を93.5%、アクリル酸単位を6.5%含有する共重合物(E)を使用し、硫酸アルミニウム添加後に添加した場合も実施した。結果を表3に示す。
水中のフッ素濃度を8mg/L以下とすることは困難であるが、本発明の方法によれば確実に8mg/L以下を達成できることがわかる。
電子部品のメッキ工場より排出されるフッ素イオンを1140mg/L含むpH4.1の排水を処理した。排水150mlを採取し、フッ素イオンに対して2.5当量(5550mg/L)の消石灰を攪拌下加え30分間作用させた後、実施例1で使用した本発明の三元系重合物(B)を添加、又は、更に実施例1で使用したアルギン酸ナトリウムを添加して15分間作用させた。10分間静置後に上澄みのフッ素濃度をイオンクロマト法で測定した。比較のために、本発明の化合物を使用しない場合、および比較例1で使用した重合体(E)を使用した場合も試験した。結果を表4に示す。
を実施しても、フッ素濃度が8mg/L以下となることがわかる。
