Abstract
【解決手段】医療装置は、中に円錐台形状のキャビティ33をもつ開口基端部32と、末端部34と、それを通る通路35とを含む。そのキャビティは、その通路の一部である。ハブ31の通路内の解除エレメント45は、円錐台形状の先端67とハブのキャビティとの流体密封係合を阻止するように配置される。ハブに基端方向の力が加えられたときに、解除エレメント45の少なくとも一部を解除する構成とする。

Claims (22)
- 円錐台形状の先端を有する流体移送装置と共に使用される医療装置において、
円錐台形状のキャビティをもつ開口基端部と、末端部と、それを通る通路とを有し、前記キャビティが前記通路の一部であるハブと、
前記通路内に位置する解除エレメントであって、前記円錐台形状の先端と前記ハブのキャビティとの流体密封係合を阻止するように配置され、前記ハブに基端方向の力を加えることによって、前記解除エレメントの少なくとも一部を解除するための手段が前記先端と前記ハブのキャビティとの突然の流体密封係合を許す解除エレメントと、
を含むことを特徴とする医療装置。 - 基端部と末端部を有する長いニードルをさらに含み、前記ニードルの基端部は前記ハブの末端部に接合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除レバーは、前記キャビティの末端部内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記基端方向の力は、0.5kg(1.1ポンド)以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記基端方向の力は、1kgと5kg(2.2ポンドと11ポンド)の間であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除用の手段は、前記解除エレメントと前記ハブの一方に不連続部を含み、それは、前記解除エレメントと前記ハブの他方の相補的な不連続部と係合し、それらの不連続部は、前記ハブに前記基端方向の力を加えることによって離れるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記ハブは、前記通路内にて基端側に向く中空延長部を含み、それは前記不連続部を有し、かつ前記通路を通る流体の流れを許すように構成され、
前記解除エレメントは、前記不連続部と係合する前記相補的な不連続部を有し、
前記解除エレメントは、前記基端方向の力に応じる離脱時に、前記解除エレメントの少なくとも一部が前記延長部の周りの空間に移るように配置され、
前記解除エレメントは、前記通路を通る流体の流れを許す開口を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の医療装置。 - 前記解除エレメントは金属の薄板によって作られ、前記相補的な不連続部は、前記解除エレメント上において内側に向く角部であることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除エレメントは、互いにテレスコーピング動作可能な基端部と末端部を含み、
前記解除用の手段は、前記解除エレメントの前記基端部と前記末端部との間の少なくとも1つの脆いリンクを含み、
前記リンクは、前記解除エレメントの前記基端部と末端部が互いにテレスコープすることができて前記先端と前記ハブの係合を許すように、前記ハブに加わる基端方向の力によって壊れやすい
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。 - 前記解除エレメントの前記末端部は、前記少なくとも1つの脆いリンクが壊されたときに、前記解除エレメントの前記基端部の少なくとも一部を受け入れるために充分な長さの開口を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除エレメントの前記基端部は外径を有し、前記解除エレメントの末端部は前記外径よりも大きい内径を有し、前記少なくとも1つの脆いリンクは前記内径から前記外径に延在することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除エレメントの前記基端部は、末端方向の突出部を前記内径内に含み、前記少なくとも1つの脆いリンクが壊された後に、前記解除エレメントの前記末端部を安定させ、かつ前記解除エレメントのスムーズなテレスコーピング動作を促進することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の医療装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの脆いリンクは、接着剤および熱可塑性エラストマーからなる群から選択される材料によって作られることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除エレメントは、前記通路内の末端部と、基端方向の軸方向ビームを含む基端部とを含み、
前記ビームは、前記円錐台形状先端の末端部に接して、前記先端と前記ハブの流体密封係合を阻止するように構成された自由端部を有し、
前記解除用の手段は、前記軸方向の力を加えることによって曲がるように設計された前記ビームを含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。 - 前記ビームは、直角形状の断面を有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除エレメントの前記末端部は、前記流体移送装置から前記通路を通る流体の流れを受け入れるための少なくとも1つの経路を含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の医療装置。
- 前記解除エレメントは、熱可塑性の材料によって作られることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の医療装置。
- 前記ハブは、熱可塑性の材料によって作られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記ハブは、内部にキャビティを有して前記ハブにヒンジ結合される旋回可能なニードルシールドを含み、前記ニードルシールドは、前記ニードルカニューレの前記末端部のアクセスを可能とするニードル露出位置と、前記ニードルカニューレの前記末端部が前記ニードルシールドのキャビティの中にあるニードル保護位置と、に旋回可能であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の医療装置。
- 前記ハブ上のガイドエレメントであって、それを通る開口を有するガイドエレメントと、
基端部と末端部を有する長いバリアアームであって、前記バリアアームの前記基端部は、末端部、基端部、およびそれを通るニードル通路を有するバリアエレメントを含み、前記バリアアームは前記ガイドエレメントの前記開口内に位置され、前記ニードルカニューレは前記バリアエレメントの前記ニードル通路内に少なくとも部分的に位置され、前記バリアアームは、少なくとも第1待機位置から第2待機位置に移動可能であり、前記第1後退位置においては、前記ニードルカニューレの前記末端部が露出されるように、前記ニードルカニューレの前記末端部が前記バリアエレメントを抜けて完全に通り、前記第2後退位置においては、前記バリアエレメントが前記カニューレの前記末端部を囲んで前記ニードルカニューレの前記末端部との偶発的な接触を防ぐバリアアームと、
前記バリアアームに指の力を加えて、前記バリアアームを前記第2後退位置に移動させるための前記バリアアーム上の指接触面と、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の医療装置。 - 基端部と、末端部と、それを通るニードル通路とを有するニードルガードであって、前記ニードルガードは、前記ニードルカニューレに沿って、前記ニードルカニューレの前記基端部に実質的に近接する第1位置から、前記ニードルカニューレの前記末端部の先端が前記ニードルガードの前記対向する基端部と末端部の中間にある第2位置に、移動可能であるニードルガードと、
基端セグメントと末端セグメントを有する可動アームであって、前記基端セグメントと前記末端セグメントは、それらが実質的に互いに潰れる第1位置と、それらが互いに伸びる第2位置と、の間にて動くために互いに連接され、前記可動アームの前記基端セグメントは前記ハブの部分に連接され、前記可動アームの前記末端セグメントは前記ガードに連接され、前記可動アームの前記基端セグメントと前記末端セグメントは、それぞれ、前記ニードルカニューレ上の前記第1位置から前記第2位置への前記ガードの移動を許容し、かつ前記第2位置を超えた末端への前記ガードの移動を阻止する長さを有する可動アームと、
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の医療装置。 - チャンバを形成する内面と、開口基端部と、管路を有する長い円錐台形状の先端を含む末端部と、を有する注射器バレルをさらに含み、
前記医療装置は、前記円錐台形状の先端が前記ハブの前記円錐台形状のキャビティに液体密封結合し、かつ前記通路が前記チャンバに流体的に連通するように、前記注射器バレルに接続される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の医療装置。
