Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、水ガラスおよび耐火性無機充填剤を含むディスプレイ素子用隔壁材および前記隔壁材の組成物を用いた隔壁形成方法とこの隔壁を含むディスプレイ素子に関する。本発明によれば、低コストで液晶ディスプレイ(LCD)、プラズマディスプレイ(PDP)、蛍光表示管ディスプレイ(VFD)および電界放出ディスプレイ(FED)など、真空が要求される素子内部の隔壁またはスペーサーを製造できる。

Description
以下、本発明を下記実施例によってさらに詳細に説明する。ただし、これらは本発明を例示するためのものであり、本発明の範囲を制限しない。
Claims (6)
- 水ガラス(Na2SiO2)15〜50重量%および耐火性無機充填剤50〜85重量%を含むディスプレイ素子用隔壁材。
- 無機充填剤が、アルミナ(Al2O3)、ジルコン(zircon)、コーディエライト(cordierite)、シリカ(SiO2)、ユークリプタイト(eucryptite)およびβ−スポジュミン(spodumene)から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のディスプレイ素子用隔壁材。
- 無機充填剤の平均粒度が0.1〜30μmであることを特徴とする、請求項1記載のディスプレイ素子用隔壁材。
- 請求項1による隔壁材の形成用組成物を、ノズルを通じて基板に塗布して目的とするパターンを形成した後、常温〜200℃の温度で乾燥することを含む、ディスプレイ素子用隔壁形成方法。
- 前記組成物が、水ガラス60〜90重量%を含有する水ガラス希釈液20〜80重量%および耐火性無機充填剤20〜80重量%を含むことを特徴とする、請求項4記載の方法。
- 請求項1の隔壁材からなる隔壁を含む液晶表示(LCD)素子。
