Abstract

- ボリュームを画像形成するための磁界を発生する少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)と、
少なくとも1つの整形コイル(150、152、153、154、155、156、157、158)と、を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの整形コイル(150、152、153、154、155、156、157、158)が、前記ボリューム内の前記磁界を整形するように前記少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)に対して配置されている、
ことを特徴とする開放型磁気共鳴画像形成(MRI)装置(100)。 - 単一ユニット支持構造体を更に含み、
前記少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)が、前記単一ユニット支持構造体の外面上に配置され、
前記少なくとも1つの整形コイル(150、152、153、154、155、156、157、158)が、前記単一ユニット支持構造体の内面上に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の開放型MRI装置(100)。 - 前記単一ユニット支持構造体が、
ほぼ円筒形のシェルと、
前記円筒形シェルのほぼ中心軸線に沿って配置されたハブ(520、525)と、
各々が前記ハブ(520、525)から半径方向外向きに延びる、前記円筒形シェル内に配置された複数のガセット(530、535)と、
を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の開放型MRI装置(100)。 - 該MRI装置(100)が、少なくとも8つの整形コイル(150、152、153、154、155、156、157、158)を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の開放型MRI装置(100)。
- ボリュームを画像形成するための磁気共鳴画像形成(MRI)装置(100)であって、
磁界を発生するように構成された少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)と、
前記少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)を遮蔽するように構成された少なくとも1つのバッキングコイル(120、125)と、
前記ボリューム内の前記磁界を整形する複数の整形コイル(150、152、153、154、155、156、157、158)と、
その少なくとも1つが前記少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)と前記少なくとも1つのバッキングコイル(120、125)との間に配置された、逆極性のコイル間の相互作用を遮蔽するための複数の強磁性体リング(130、135)と、
を含むことを特徴とするMRI装置(100)。 - 前記少なくとも1つの主コイル(110、115)と、前記少なくとも1つのバッキングコイル(120、125)と、前記複数の整形コイル(150、152、153、154、155、156、157、158)と、前記複数の強磁性体リング(130、135)とを支持するための単一ユニット支持構造体を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のMRI装置(100)。
