Abstract
【解決手段】 制御ケーブル12のスナップ嵌合止め具18を装着するための空所20は、フード解放機構のラッチサポート22に設けられている。制御ケーブル12の保持手段として、フランジ30の突出する対面エッジが、ケーブル装着用空所20から所定距離離れ、かつ、ケーブル装着用空所20の中心線からオフセットされるように、ラッチサポート22に設けられている。ラッチサポート22が車両の正面衝突時の衝撃で変形したり移動したりすると、対面エッジが制御ケーブル12に当接する。対面エッジは、スナップ嵌合止め具18がラッチサポート22から外れることを規制し、車両のフードが不用意に開くことを防ぐ。

Description
図1〜図3に、フードラッチ制御用ケーブルの保持装置10が示されている。符号22はラッチサポートであり、このラッチサポート22は、車両のエンジン室内の一端部近傍に配置されている。制御ケーブル12は、外皮14、ケーブルワイヤ16およびスナップ嵌合止め具18を備えている。

Claims (3)
- 外皮、ケーブルワイヤおよびスナップ嵌合止め具を備える制御ケーブルと、
エッジに連続する開口を有することで前記スナップ嵌合止め具を受容し係合するケーブル装着用空所を備えたラッチサポートと、
前記ラッチサポートに接続され、該ラッチサポートから所定距離離間したフランジを有する保持手段とを備え、
前記フランジは、その対面エッジが前記ケーブル装着用空所の前記開口の反対側に取り付けられることにより、車両が正面からの衝撃を受けた時に前記制御ケーブルを拘束して前記スナップ嵌合止め具の前記ケーブル装着用空所内での係合状態を維持するように配置されていることを特徴とするフードラッチ制御用ケーブルの保持装置。 - 前記フランジに、前記ケーブル装着用空所に対してオフセットされたケーブル保持用空所が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフードラッチ制御用ケーブルの保持装置。
- 前記ケーブル装着用空所は溝であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフードラッチ制御用ケーブルの保持装置。
