【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項１】 ポリアルケニル置換モノ又はジカルボン酸、その無水物又はエステルとポリアミンとの反応生成物を含む分散剤であって、該反応生成物がポリアルケニル部分に対して約1.3より大きく約1.7未満のモノ又はジカルボン酸生成部分を有し、前記ポリアルケニル部分の分子量分布（Ｍw/Ｍn）が約1.5〜約2.0である分散剤。
【請求項２】 前記ポリアルケニル部分の数平均分子量（Ｍn）が約1800〜約3000である、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項３】 前記ポリアルケニル置換モノ又はジカルボン酸、その無水物又はエステルがポリイソブテンコハク酸無水物である、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項４】 前記ポリイソブテンコハク酸無水物が得られるポリイソブテン部分の末端ビニリデン含量が、少なくとも65重量％である、請求項３記載の分散剤。
【請求項５】 前記ポリイソブテン部分が高反応性ポリイソブチレン（ＨＲ-ＰIＢ）を含んでいる、請求項４記載の分散剤。
【請求項６】 前記ポリアミンの窒素原子/分子が平均約６〜７個である、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項７】 前記反応生成物がポリアルケニル部分に対して約1.3より大きく約1.6までのモノ又はジカルボン酸生成部分を有する、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項８】 前記ポリアミンが少なくとも１つの第一アミン部分を含み、前記ポリアミンの第一アミン部分に対して約0.8〜約1.0のスクシニル部分から得られる、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項９】 多量の潤滑粘性油と、少量の請求項１記載の分散剤とを含む潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１０】 前記潤滑粘性油がIII族油、IＶ族油、Ｖ族油、又はその混合物である、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１１】 前記潤滑粘性油のＮoack揮発度が13.5％以下で粘度指数（ＶI）が少なくとも120である、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１２】 前記組成物のＮoack揮発度が12％以下である、請求項１１記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１３】 モリブデン含有耐摩耗性剤又は酸化防止剤、サリチル酸カルシウム清浄剤又は中性清浄剤からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも１種の追加添加剤の少量を更に含んでいる、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１４】 リン含量が前記潤滑油組成物の全重量に対して0.08重量％以下である、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１５】 多量の潤滑粘性油と、潤滑油組成物の全重量に対して約１〜約７重量％の請求項１記載の分散剤とを含む潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１６】 約20〜90重量％の通常は液体で実質的に不活性の有機溶媒又は希釈剤と、約10〜約90重量％の請求項１記載の分散剤を含んでいる添加剤とを含む添加剤濃縮物。
【請求項１７】 動作中の内燃機関のピストンの清浄度を向上させる方法であって、前記機関を請求項１５記載の潤滑油組成物で潤滑する工程を含む、前記方法。
【請求項１】 ポリアルケニル置換モノ又はジカルボン酸、その無水物又はエステルとポリアミンとの反応生成物を含む分散剤であって、該反応生成物がポリアルケニル部分に対して約1.3より大きく約1.7未満のモノ又はジカルボン酸生成部分を有し、前記ポリアルケニル部分の分子量分布（Ｍw/Ｍn）が約1.5〜約2.0である分散剤。
【請求項２】 前記ポリアルケニル部分の数平均分子量（Ｍn）が約1800〜約3000である、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項３】 前記ポリアルケニル置換モノ又はジカルボン酸、その無水物又はエステルがポリイソブテンコハク酸無水物である、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項４】 前記ポリイソブテンコハク酸無水物が得られるポリイソブテン部分の末端ビニリデン含量が、少なくとも65重量％である、請求項３記載の分散剤。
【請求項５】 前記ポリイソブテン部分が高反応性ポリイソブチレン（ＨＲ-ＰIＢ）を含んでいる、請求項４記載の分散剤。
【請求項６】 前記ポリアミンの窒素原子/分子が平均約６〜７個である、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項７】 前記反応生成物がポリアルケニル部分に対して約1.3より大きく約1.6までのモノ又はジカルボン酸生成部分を有する、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項８】 前記ポリアミンが少なくとも１つの第一アミン部分を含み、前記ポリアミンの第一アミン部分に対して約0.8〜約1.0のスクシニル部分から得られる、請求項１記載の分散剤。
【請求項９】 多量の潤滑粘性油と、少量の請求項１記載の分散剤とを含む潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１０】 前記潤滑粘性油がIII族油、IＶ族油、Ｖ族油、又はその混合物である、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１１】 前記潤滑粘性油のＮoack揮発度が13.5％以下で粘度指数（ＶI）が少なくとも120である、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１２】 前記組成物のＮoack揮発度が12％以下である、請求項１１記載の潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１３】 モリブデン含有耐摩耗性剤又は酸化防止剤、サリチル酸カルシウム清浄剤又は中性清浄剤からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも１種の追加添加剤の少量を更に含んでいる、請求項９記載の潤滑油組成物。

【請求項１５】 多量の潤滑粘性油と、潤滑油組成物の全重量に対して約１〜約７重量％の請求項１記載の分散剤とを含む潤滑油組成物。
【請求項１６】 約20〜90重量％の通常は液体で実質的に不活性の有機溶媒又は希釈剤と、約10〜約90重量％の請求項１記載の分散剤を含んでいる添加剤とを含む添加剤濃縮物。
