Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)Co化合物を実質的に含有しない触媒の存在下に、炭素数10以下のグ リコール及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のグリコ ールと、炭素数2〜16のアルキルジカルボン酸、炭素数8〜16のアリールジカル ボン酸及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のジカルボ ン酸とを溶融反応させて、少なくとも約0.5dL/gのI.V.を有するポリエステル を生成せしめる工程、 (b)アセトアルデヒド減少剤をポリエステルに添加して、アセトアルデヒド の少ないポリエステルを生成せしめる工程、並びに (c)アセトアルデヒドの少ないポリエステルを、工程(b)から直接に物品 に成形する工程を含んでなる方法。 2.成形工程(c)の前に、ポリエステルを脱蔵してアセトアルデヒドを除去 する工程を更に含んでなる請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 3.工程(a)からのポリエステルが、少なくとも約0.65dL/gのI.V.を有す る請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 4.工程(a)からのポリエステルが、約0.65〜約0.85dL/gのI.V.を有する 請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 5.ジカルボン酸が少なくとも約80モル%のテレフタル酸を含む請求の範囲第 1項に記載の方法。 6.ジカルボン酸が少なくとも約80モル%のナフタレンジカルボン酸を含む請 求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.グリコールが少なくとも80モル%のエチレングリコールを含む請求の範囲 第1項に記載の方法。 8.グリコールが、エチレングリコールとシクロヘキサンジメタ ノールとの混合物である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 9.アセトアルデヒド減少剤が、ポリアミド、ポリエステルアミド、ナイロン 6、脂肪族ポリアミド、エチレンジアミン四酢酸、アルコキシル化ポリオール、 ビス(4−β−ヒドロキシエトキシフェニル)スルホン、ゼオライト化合物、5 −ヒドロキシイソフタル酸、ポリ(エチレンイソフタレート)、超臨界二酸化炭 素、プロトン酸触媒及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求の範囲第 1項に記載の方法。 10.アセトアルデヒド減少剤が、ポリアミド、ポリエステルアミド及びポリ( エチレンイソフタレート)からなる群から選択される請求の範囲第1項に記載の 方法。 11.ポリアミドが、AB又はA2B2構造を有するホモ及びコポリアミドからなる群 から選択される請求の範囲第10項に記載の方法。 12.ポリアミドが、ポリ(カプロラクタム)、ポリ(ヘキサメチレン−アジパ ミド)、ポリ(m−キシリレン−アジパミド)及びこれらの混合物からなる群か ら選択される請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 13.ポリエステルアミドが、ポリエチレンイミン;テレフタル酸、1,4−シ クロヘキサンジメタノール、イソフタル酸及びヘキサメチレンジアミンから製造 されたポリエステルアミド;テレフタル酸、1,4−シクロヘキサンジメタノー ル、アジピン酸及びヘキサメチレンジアミンから製造されたポリエステルアミド ;テレフタル酸、1,4−シクロヘキサンジメタノール及びビス(p−アミノシ クロヘキシル)メタンから製造されたポリエステルアミド及びこれらの混合物か らなる群から選択される請求の範囲第11項に記載の方法。 14.アセトアルデヒド減少剤を、約0.1〜5重量%の量で添加す る請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 15.アセトアルデヒド減少剤を約0.2〜3重量%の量で添加する請求の範囲第 1項に記載の方法。 16.ジカルボン酸がテレフタル酸からなり、グリコールが、約60〜約99モル% のエチレングリコールと約40〜約1モル%のシクロヘキサンジメタノールとの混 合物である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 17.反応及び脱蔵工程が単一の装置内で行われる請求の範囲第2項に記載の方 法。 18.アセトアルデヒド減少剤をポリエステルに別々に添加する請求の範囲第1 項に記載の方法。 19.アセトアルデヒド減少剤をポリエステルにコンセントレートの一部として 添加する請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 20.少なくとも1種のトナーを溶融反応工程a)に添加する請求の範囲第1項 に記載の方法。 21.脱蔵を約25mmHgより高い圧力で行う請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 22.脱蔵を大気圧付近又は大気圧である圧力で行う請求の範囲第2項に記載の 方法。 23.脱蔵をI.V.の実質的な上昇が起こらないようにするために十分に短い滞留 時間で行う請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 24.実質的な上昇が約0.1dL/gより大きい請求の範囲第23項に記載の方法。 25.実質的な上昇が約0.05dL/gより大きい請求の範囲第23項に記載の方法。 26.実質的な上昇が約0.03dL/gより大きい請求の範囲第23項に記載の方法。 27.ポリエステルのアセトアルデヒド含量が約10ppmより少ない請求の範囲第 1項に記載の方法。 28.成形、造形及び押出物品からなる群から選択された請求の範囲第1項に記 載の方法により成形された物品。
