Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.窒化アルミニウムAlNに基づく材料からなる成形体を製造する方法におい て、 a)液体状態またはペースト状態で、化学反応及び/又は乾燥中の溶剤の減量 によって凝固できる粉末状の窒化ホウ素BN、粉末状のアルミニウムおよびバイ ンダーからなる均質な混合物を用意する工程、 b)上記混合物を金型に注型し、プレス成形し、ほぼ70℃程度の温度を超え ない温度に加熱して、バインダーを硬化するとともに、固体の取り扱い可能な未 焼成成形体を成形する工程、 c)300℃程度の温度に加熱することによってバインダーを除去する工程、 d)溶融状態にあるアルミニウム浴か、またはアルミニウム合金浴に浸漬する ことによって未焼成成形体の気孔を含浸し、含浸プレフォームを上記浴から取り 出し、冷却する工程、 e)Al−BN複合プレフォームを、製造すべき成形体の最終寸法に機械加工 する工程、 f)900℃〜1000℃の間にある温度で反応焼結を行なって、窒化アルミ ニウム系セラミックスを成形する工程、および g)1100℃〜1250℃の間にある温度に加熱処理して、残留アルミニウ ムを成形体の気孔から移行させ、冷却した場合には、冷却後に表面に集まったア ルミニウムを機械的に除去する工程からなる成形体の製造方法。 2.工程a)で、30〜60重量部、好ましくはほぼ40重量部のBNと70〜 40重量部、好ましくは60重量部のアルミニウムを混合することを特徴とする 請求項1記載の方法。 3.工程a)が、 a1)BN粉末、アルミニウム粉末および第1のバインダー部分からなる第1 混合物を用意する工程、 a2)30〜140barの圧力でプレスすることによって第1混合物をイン ゴットに圧粉してから、加熱して、バインダーを硬化する工程、 a3)バインダーを除去する工程、 a4)溶融状態のアルミニウムでインゴットの気孔を含浸して、Al−BNの 複合インゴットを得る工程、 a5)Al−BN複合インゴットを機械加工して、削り粉にし、これをBN粉 末と混合し、粉砕する工程、および a6)得られた粉末を第2バインダー部分と混合する工程を有することを特徴 とする請求項1または2記載の方法。 4.各成分の重量割合が、工程a1)ではアルミニウム10%に対してBNが9 0%、工程a5)ではBN粉末40%に対して第1Al−BN複合削り粉が60 %であり、そして工程a1)およびa6)ではバインダー25%に対して粉末7 5%であることを特徴とする請求項3記載の方法。 5.バインダーが有機ポリマー、好ましくはポリビニルアルコールの水溶液であ ることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 6.工程b)の成形及び/又は工程a2)の圧粉を45bar付近の圧力で行な うことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 7.工程c)及び/又は工程a3)の含浸を、まず、真空下、好ましくは10P a程度の残留圧力で、次に40〜60barの間にある圧力、好ましくは50b arの圧力で含浸浴に含浸して行なうことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか 1項に記載の方法。 8.工程c)の含浸を、融点がアルミニウムの融点よりも低いアルミニウムおよ びケイ素からなる合金、好ましくは共晶合金を用いて、温度を740〜850℃ 、好ましくはほぼ800℃に高めた状態で行なうことを特徴とする請求項1〜7 のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 9.工程f)を中性雰囲気中、好ましくは窒素雰囲気下で行なうことを特徴とす る請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 10.工程g)の熱処理を空気中大気圧で行なうことを特徴とする請求項1〜9 のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 11.少なくとも工程a)〜e)を実施することによって2つの部材を用意し、 これら2つの部材を拡散−ブレージング法によって接合し、得られた接合体を、 少なくとも一方の部材について省略した工程に付すことを特徴とする請求項1〜 10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 12.工程e)に従って得られた2つの成分を拡散−ブレージング法によって接 合してから、950〜1250℃の範囲にある温度、好ましくは950℃で1時 間反応−焼結し、次に1250℃で2時間反応−焼結を行なうことを特徴とする 請求項11に記載の方法。 13.950〜1100℃の範囲にある温度、好ましくは1000℃での反応− 焼結によって得られた2つの部材を拡散−ブレージング法に接合してから、10 00〜1250℃の範囲にある温度、好ましくは1100℃で後焼結を行なうこ とを特徴とする請求項11記載の方法。 14.請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法における反応−焼結によって 得られ、実質的に窒化アルミニウムからなり、そして遊離アルミニウムおよび連 続気孔が事実上認められない成形体。 15.窒化ケイのトリカイトを含有することを特徴とする請求項14記載の成形 体。
