Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.表面の被覆をするプラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射装置であって、第 1の負電位を持つ陰極(51)、該陰極(51)の自由端を離間した関係でほぼ取囲み 、上記陰極の自由端の反対側に絞りオリフィス(55)を持ち、第2の正電位を持 つ、ノズル(50)、上記ノズル(50)の中へ上記陰極(51)を取囲みそして上記絞 りノズル・オリフィス(55)から出て行くプラズマ・ガスを注ぐプラズマ・ガス の供給源、及び、上記絞りノズル・オリフィス(55)の反対側にあって、上記ノ ズル(50)と同じ第2正電位を持つワイヤー供給材料(56)の自由端を、連続的 に送るワイヤー供給部(58a,58b)、を有し、上記装置は、それにより、上記ワイ ヤー供給材料の自由端と上記陰極(51)との間に、上記ワイヤー供給材料の自由 端を溶かす、プラズマ移行式アークを確立し、上記絞りノズル(55)を出て行く 上記プラズマ・ガスは融解供給材料を霧化し、霧化された融解供給材料を上記表 面に向け推進し、それにより上記表面を被覆する、装置。 2.上記陰極及び上記ノズルが、組立体として、上記ノズルと上記ワイヤー供 給材料の同じ正電位を維持しながら、上記ワイヤー供給材料の長軸回りに回転自 在に取付けられ、上記プラズマ移行式アークを回転自在に上記ワイヤー供給供給 材料の上記長軸を通り向けるために、上記ワイヤー供給材料回りに回転自在であ る上記陰極及びノズルの組立体が、上記ノズルの上記絞りオリフィスの反対側の 内側円弧面を被覆する、請求項1に記載のプラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射 装置。 3.上記ノズルは、上記陰極を離間関係で取囲む囲まれた環状室及び、上記絞 りノズル・オリフィスから離間し上記環状室の軸に対してある角度で規定される 入口ポートを、含み、上記プラズマ・ガスが、圧力下で上記囲み環状室内へ注が れ、上記陰極回りに上記絞りノズル・オリフィスから出て行くプラズマ・ガス渦 流を生成する、請求項1に記載のプラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射装置。 4.上記ワイヤー供給材料の上記長軸と上記プラズマ移行式アークとの間の角 度が90度未満である、請求項2に記載のプラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射装 置。 5.上記ワイヤー供給部は、上記ワイヤー供給材料がそこを通って上記ノズル の絞りオリフィスへそれと接触して供給される略管状の導電性ワイヤー・ガイド を含み、上記陰極及びノズルの組立体が上記ワイヤー供給材料の上記長軸回りに 回転させられる際に、上記ワイヤー・ガイドが上記ノズルと連続的な電気接触を している、請求項2に記載のプラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射装置。 6.上記装置が、負の陰極電位を確立するのに上記陰極に作用的に接続される 負端子及び、上記ノズルの正の電位を確立するのに上記ノズルに作用的に接続さ れる正端子を持ち、それにより、上記陰極と上記ノズルとの間に電気アークを起 こす、高電圧直流電源、電気アークのエネルギー状態を増加するのに、上記陰極 に接続される負端子及び上記ノズルに接続される正端子を持ち、それにより、上 記電気アークを上記ノズル・オリフィスを通して延ばし、絞りプラズマ・アーク を形成するパイロッ ト・プラズマ直流電源供給部、及び上記絞りプラズマ・アークのエネルギー状態 を増加させるのに、上記陰極へ接続される負端子及び上記ワイヤー供給材料へ作 用的に接続される正端子を持つ、別個の主要直流電力供給部、を有し、上記ノズ ル及び上記ワイヤー供給材料に同じ第2正電位を保つために、上記ワイヤー供給 材料と上記ノズルが電気的に接続され、それにより、上記絞りプラズマ・アーク を上記ワイヤー供給材料まで延ばし、上記ワイヤー供給材料と上記陰極との間に 、上記プラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アークを確立する、請求項1に記載のプラズマ 移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射装置。 7.プラズマ移行式ワイヤー・アーク溶射装置を用いて、密な金属皮膜で表面 を被覆する方法であって、上記装置が、陰極、該陰極の自由端を離間した関係で ほぼ取囲み、上記陰極の自由端の反対側に絞りオリフィスを持つノズル及び、上 記絞りノズル・オリフィスの反対側にワイヤー供給材料の自由端を送るワイヤー 供給部を含み、 上記陰極を取囲み、上記絞りノズル・オリフィスから出て行くプラズマ・ガス を上記ノズルの中へ注ぐ工程、 上記陰極と上記ノズルとの間に、電位差を生成することにより、そこの間に電 気パイロット・アークを起こし、上記陰極が負電位を持ち上記ノズルが正電位を 持つこととする、工程、 上記電気アークに対する電気エネルギーを増加し、絞り延ばされたプラズマ・ アークを形成することにより、上記電気アークを上記絞りノズル・オリフィスを 通して延ばす工程、及び 上記ワイヤー供給材料と上記陰極との間で、電位差を生成することにより、上 記絞り延ばされたプラズマ・アークを上記ノズルから上記ワイ ヤー供給材料の上記自由端へ移行する工程、を有し、上記ワイヤー供給材料と上 記ノズルが同じ正電位を持ち、上記陰極が負電位を持ち、それにより、上記ワイ ヤー供給材料の自由端を融解し、上記プラズマ・ガスが融解供給材料を霧化し霧 化された融解供給材料を上記表面へ向け推進させ、上記表面上に上記ち密な金属 被膜を形成する、方法。 8.上記方法が、上記陰極及び上記ノズルを、組立体として、上記ノズルと上 記ワイヤー供給材料の同じ正電位を維持しながら、上記ワイヤー供給材料の長軸 回りに回転させ、それにより、上記霧化された融解供給材料を回転しながら進め て上記密な金属皮膜で内方円弧面を被覆する工程を、含む、請求項7に記載の、 ち密な金属皮膜で表面を被覆する方法。 9.上記方法は、プラズマ・ガスを圧力下で上記ノズル内へ接線方法に注ぐ工 程及び、上記陰極回りにあり上記絞りノズル・オリフィスから出て行く渦流を生 成する工程、を含む、請求項7に記載のち密な金属皮膜で表面を被覆する方法。 10.上記方法が、第2ガス流を、上記ワイヤー供給材料の自由端へ向かって 、上記ワイヤー供給材料の自由端を囲み、上記ワイヤー供給材料の自由端の下流 に位置する交差点を持つ形態で、注ぐ工程を含む、請求項7に記載のち密な金属 皮膜で表面を被覆する方法。
