Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. カラーフィルタ構造を製造する方法であって、 第1の実質的に透明の基板上に厚いポリイミドのブラックマトリクスを形成し 、 前記ブラックマトリクスの厚さと実質的に等しい厚さに前記ブラックマトリク スに渡って実質的に透明のポリイミド層を形成し、 前記基板を通して前記透明な層を露出させ、そして 前記ブラックマトリクスを覆う層部分を除去して実質的に平坦な表面を形成す るよう前記透明な層を現像することを特徴とする方法。 2. 前記平坦な表面を覆って一組のカラーフィルタを形成するようにした請求 項1に記載の方法。 3. 前記カラーフィルタを覆って不活性化層を形成するようにした請求項2に 記載の方法。 4. 前記不活性化層を覆ってITO層を形成するようにした請求項3に記載の方 法。 5. 前記ITO層上に球体スペーサを追加しそして前記ITO層及び第2の基板聞に 液晶材料を追加することにより、ディスプレイ装置を形成するようにした請求項 4に記載の方法。 6. アクティブマトリクス液晶ディスプレイ装置を形成するようにした請求項 5に記載の方法。 7. 前記ブラックマトリクスの厚さよりも僅かに大きい厚さに、前記透明な層 を形成するようにした請求項1に記載の方法。
