【特許請求の範囲】
【請求項1】 着色剤と、下記式から成る無色化合物とを含有する、固体インク。

式中、Xは窒素原子又は酸素原子であり、Z2、Z3、及びZ4は1つ以上の原子から成る置換基であり、Z2、Z3、及びZ4は互いに同一であってもよいし互いに異なっていてもよく、Z2、Z3、及びZ4は共通環内にあってもよく、jは1〜約50のいずれかの整数であり、k は1〜約50のいずれかの整数であり、j と同一であってもよいし異なっていてもよく、(H,Q)は、基Q或いは水素が示した位置にあってもよいということを示しており、基Qはアルキル基或いはアリール基であり、基Qは前記化合物内においてさまざまなアルキル及びアリール基の間で多様であってよい。
【請求項2】 着色剤と、1つの中心コア及び該コアから延びる下記式を含む少なくとも2つのアームを有する無色化合物とを含有する、固体インク。

【請求項3】 下記式から成る無色化合物を含有する、相転移インクを溶融する工程と、
前記溶融したインクを基体に付与する工程と、
前記溶融したインクを前記基体上で冷却する工程とを含む、
