Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】紙容器本体に穿設された注出口用窓孔の周縁内
面に貼着する口栓内付けタイプにも、周縁外面に貼着す
る口栓外付けタイプにも対応可能な、バリアフィルムの
クラック発生を防止する口栓取付装置の提供にある。 【解決手段】超音波を縦振動に変換するホーン30とそ
れに相対する固定アンビル32でなる口栓取付装置1で
あって、前記固定アンビル32の中心に略円形状溝が刻
設され、該溝の中心に吸振体38が設けられ、該吸振体
38の周囲溝に上下動する保持具36を介して引込アン
ビル34が設けられている口栓取付装置1とするもので
ある。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、清涼飲料、酒類等
を収容する液体用紙容器に口栓を貼着するための口栓取
付装置に関するものである。
【0002】
【従来の技術】従来より、例えば酒類等を収容するガラ
ス瓶に代わって、軽量でリサイクル可能な液体用紙容器
が知られ、特に大型サイズの容器では、頂部の傾斜面に
口栓が貼着された口栓付液体用紙容器として広く普及し
ている。
【0003】上記口栓の貼着には、図2の側断面概略図
に示すように、例えば注出口用窓孔(18)が穿設され
た紙容器本体(10)の注出口用窓孔(18)周縁内面
(16a)に、下面にバリアフィルム(12)(酸素や
水蒸気バリア性の付与とともに液体の密封を確実にする
ための中栓で、最初の開封時に口栓内部の円筒状開封刃
(図示せず)によって破られる)が内面にヒートシール
され、そのヒートシールされた口栓(20)(キャップ
は省略してある)の台座リング(22)の上面を短時間
シールが可能な超音波シール法で融着する口栓内付けタ
イプ液体用紙容器(2)と、図3の側断面概略図に示す
ように、注出口用窓孔(18)が穿設され、該窓孔(1
8)を覆うバリアフィルム(12)(ガスバリア性と中
栓を兼ねる)が内面にヒートシールされ、その窓孔(1
8)の周縁外面(14a)に、口栓(20)の台座リン
グ(22)の下面を短時間シールが可能な超音波シール
法で融着する口栓外付けタイプの液体用紙容器(3)と
があり、それぞれのタイプは用途等に応じて使い分けら
れている。
【0004】以上のように、内付けタイプでも外付けタ
イプでも口栓(20)が超音波シール法によって短時間
で紙容器本体(10)に完全に固着されるが、毎秒2〜
3万回という超音波振動によってバリアフィルム(1
2)の中心部にクラックが発生してフィルムのガスバリ
ア性に欠けたり、中栓の役目も果たさないという問題が
あった。
【0005】そこで従来は、このクラック発生を軽減す
るため、上記内付けタイプでは、口栓(20)本体に吸
振溝(図示せず)を設けたり、また、上記外付けタイプ
では、口栓(20)本体の材質や形状を変えたり、超音
波を縦振動に変換するホーンの周波数を変化させたりし
ていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記の
クラック発生を軽減する従来技術において、口栓の内付
けタイプでは口栓の意匠性に自由度がなく、また口栓の
外付けタイプでは、口栓の意匠性や材質に自由度がな
く、かつ周波数を変化させる煩わしさなどの問題点があ
った。
【0007】本発明は、かかる従来技術の問題点を解決
するものであり、その課題とするところは、紙容器本体
の頂部近傍に穿設された注出口用窓孔の周縁内面に貼着
する口栓内付けタイプにも、周縁外面に貼着する口栓外
付けタイプにも対応可能な、バリアフィルムへのクラッ
クの発生を防止する口栓取付装置を提供することにあ
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明に於いて上記課題
を達成するために、まず請求項1の発明では、紙容器本
体の頂部近傍に穿設された注出口用窓孔の周縁内面もし
くは周縁外面に、口栓とその台座リングを貼着する超音
波を縦振動に変換するホーンとそれに相対する固定アン
ビル(受け冶具)でなる口栓取付装置であって、前記固
定アンビルの中心に略円形状溝が刻設され、該略円形状
溝の中心に吸振体が設けられ、該吸振体の周囲溝に保持
具を介して引込アンビルが設けられていることを特徴と
する口栓取付装置としたものである。
【0009】また、請求項2の発明では、前記ホーンの
先端が引込アンビルの略中心に載置されてなることを特
徴とする請求項1記載の口栓取付装置としたものであ
る。
【0010】また、請求項3の発明では、前記吸振体の
頂部と引込アンビルの上面と固定アンビルの上面が略同
一面であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の口
栓取付装置としたものである。
【0011】さらにまた、請求項4の発明では、前記保
持具が、前記引込アンビルの上下動を可能にするバネも
しくはシリンダーであることを特徴とする請求項1、2
または3記載の口栓取付装置としたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】以下本発明の実施の形態を図面を
用いて詳細に説明する。本発明は、図4の斜視図に示す
ように、例えば頂部の傾斜面(17)に注出口用窓孔
(18)が穿設された紙容器本体(10)の窓孔周縁内
面もしくは外面に、口栓(20)の台座リング(図示せ
ず)を超音波シール法で融着するための口栓取付装置に
関するものであり、特に図2および図3に示すバリアフ
ィルム(12)のクラック発生を防止する口栓取付装置
に関するものである。
【0013】そこでまず本発明の口栓取付装置は、例え
ば、図2の側断面図に示すように、紙容器本体(10)
に穿設された注出口用窓孔(18)の周縁内面(16
a)に、口栓(20)とその台座リング(22)を貼着
する口栓内付けタイプの液体用紙容器(2)とするため
の装置であり、図1の側断面図に示すように、その口栓
取付装置(1)は、超音波を縦振動に変換するホーン
(30)とそれに相対する固定アンビル(32)でな
り、この固定アンビル(32)の中心に略円形状溝が刻
設され、該溝の中心に吸振体(38)が設けられ、該吸
振体(38)の周囲溝に、引込アンビル(34)を保持
する保持具(36)とその上にリング状の引込アンビル
(34)が設けられているものである。
【0014】また、図1に示すように、前記ホーン(3
0)の先端(30a)が引込アンビル(34)の略中心
にくるように載置され、さらに前記吸振体(38)の頂
部と引込アンビル(34)の上面と固定アンビル(3
2)の上面が略同一面とするものである。
【0015】さらにまた、図1に示すように、前記保持
具(36)は、引込アンビル(34)を保持し、かつ引
込アンビル(34)が上下動するようなバネあるいはシ
リンダーとするものである。
【0016】上記のような構成の口栓取付装置(1)を
用いて、超音波シール法による口栓の貼着は、まず図5
の側断面図に示すように、固定アンビル(32)に対
し、口栓内付けタイプの紙容器本体(10)を挿入し、
口栓(20)との位置決めを行う。
【0017】続いて、図6の側断面図に示すように、ホ
ーン(30)を下方に前進させ、ホーンの先端(30
a)が引込アンビル(34)の略中心にくるようにし、
紙容器本体(10)と口栓の台座リング(22)を加圧
固定する。この時ホーン(30)の先端(30a)に相
対する引込アンビル(34)が保持具(36)であるバ
ネにより下方に後退し、その結果吸振体(38)が突出
して口栓(20)に圧着し、同時にホーン(30)から
の発振により前記吸振体(38)が口栓(20)に伝播
する振動を吸収する。よって口栓(20)にシールされ
ているバリアフィルム(12)に発生する振動を吸収す
るため、バリアフィルム(12)中心部へのクラック発
生を防止することができる。
【0018】また、図3に示すような注出口用窓孔(1
8)の周縁内面にバリアフィルム(12)がシールされ
ている口栓外付けタイプの液体用紙容器(3)において
も上記口栓内付けタイプと同様の効果があり、前記バリ
アフィルム(12)に発生する振動を吸収し、よってバ
リアフィルム(12)中心部へのクラック発生を防止す
ることができる。
【0019】本発明の口栓取付装置(1)に適用される
紙容器本体(10)は、例えば外側から低密度ポリエチ
レン(25μm)/コートボール(400g/cm2
/サンドポリエチレン(25μm)/アルミニウム箔
(7μm)/ポリエチレンテレフタレート(12μm)
/低密度ポリエチレン(60μm)の順に積層されたも
のが挙げられ、その最内外層ともヒートシール性に優れ
た低密度ポリエチレンが使用されている。
【0020】また、口栓(20)としては、一般的には
低密度ポリエチレン樹脂で成形されたもので、場合によ
っては高密度ポリエチレンが使用されるが、上記紙容器
本体(10)に適性シール条件の非常に狭い超音波シー
ル法で融着するには、融点(100℃〜120℃)が同
一の低密度ポリエチレン製であることが必要条件であ
り、高密度ポリエチレン製の口栓の場合は、口栓の台座
リング(22)と紙容器本体(10)の外面あるいは内
面との間に他の樹脂すなわち融点が類似した樹脂膜を介
在させる必要がある。
【0021】また、バリアフィルム(12)としては、
例えば外側すなわち口栓の台座リング(22)にヒート
シールされる側あるいは紙容器本体(10)の注出口用
窓孔(18)周縁内面にヒートシールされる側から低密
度ポリエチレン(40μm)/アルミニウム箔(7μ
m)/ポリエチレンテレフタレート(12μm)の順で
積層されたものが挙げられ、外面がヒートシール製に優
れた低密度ポリエチレンでなり、ヒートシールされる紙
容器本体(10)や口栓(20)も同様の低密度ポリエ
チレンであるのが一般的である。
【0022】以上のような構成の紙容器本体(10)
に、本発明の口栓取付装置(1)による口栓(20)の
融着は、例えば発振時間0.5秒、振幅60μm、冷却
時間0.2秒、圧力4.5kgf/cm2 の超音波シー
ル条件で、安定して強固に固着され、かつバリアフィル
ム(12)中心部におけるクラック発生を防止できるも
のである。

【発明の効果】本発明は以上の構成であるから、下記に
示す如き効果がある。即ち、紙容器本体穿設された注出
口用窓孔の周縁内面もしくは周縁外面に、口栓を貼着す
る、ホーンとそれに相対する固定アンビルでなる口栓取
付装置であって、前記固定アンビルの中心に略円形状溝
が刻設され、該溝の中心に吸振体が設けられ、該吸振体
の周囲溝にバネ等でなる保持具を介して引込アンビルが
設けられている口栓取付装置とすることによって、紙容
器本体への口栓の融着に際し、ホーンを下方に前進させ
ると、吸振体が突出して口栓に伝播する振動を吸収すの
で、バリアフィルムのクラック発生を防止することがで
きる。
【0024】よって従来のように口栓の形状や材質を変
える必要がなく、かつ超音波の発振条件も変えることを
要せず、口栓内付けタイプでも外付けタイプの液体用紙
容器にも適用可能な口栓取付装置を提供できる。
【0025】従って本発明は、酒類や清涼飲料を収容す
る口栓付液体用紙容器の製造において、優れた実用上の
効果を発揮する。

  1. 【請求項1】紙容器本体の頂部近傍に穿設された注出口
    用窓孔の周縁内面もしくは周縁外面に、口栓とその台座
    リングを貼着する、超音波を縦振動に変換するホーンと
    それに相対する固定アンビルでなる口栓取付装置であっ
    て、前記固定アンビルの中心に略円形状溝が刻設され、
    該略円形状溝の中心に吸振体が設けられ、該吸振体の周
    囲溝に保持具を介して引込アンビルが設けられているこ
    とを特徴とする口栓取付装置。
  2. 【請求項2】前記ホーンの先端が引込アンビルの略中心
    に載置されてなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の口栓
    取付装置。
  3. 【請求項3】前記吸振体の頂部と引込アンビルの上面と
    固定アンビルの上面が略同一面であることを特徴とする
    請求項1または2記載の口栓取付装置。
  4. 【請求項4】前記保持具が、前記引込アンビルの上下動
    を可能にするバネもしくはシリンダーであることを特徴
