Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.静電ろ過手段(20)を装備した静電ろ過室(10)と、一端でろ過室(1 0)の入口と流体連絡し、ろ過室(10)に排気ガスを供給するライン(13) とを含み、供給ライン(13)の他端が開口(14)を備え、開口(14)の入 口開口部が、排気ガスの進入、および排気ガスの温度を下げるための周囲空気の 流れの進入を可能にするようになされた、内燃機関の排気ガスをろ過するための 装置(1)であって、排気ガスおよび空気の流れを引き込むための吸気手段(1 6)が、ろ過室(10)の出口(12)の下流に取り付けられ、この出口(12 )と流体連絡して、排気ガスと空気との混合物を前記ろ過室(10)に入らせ、 ろ過されたガスを環境中に放出すること、ならびにその混合物から出る粗い固体 粒子および液滴用のフィルタ(19)がろ過室(10)の前記静電ろ過手段(2 0)の上流に取り付けられることを特徴とする装置。 2.前記フィルタが衝突タイプのフィルタであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項に記載の装置。 3.粗い固体粒子および液滴用の他のフィルタ(21)がろ過 室(10)の静電ろ過手段の下流に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第1項または第2項に記載の装置。 4.前記他のフィルタが衝突タイプのフィルタであることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第3項に記載のろ過装置。 5.活性炭フィルタ(23)がろ過室(10)の前記他のフィルタ(21)の下 流に装着されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第3項または第4項に記載のろ 過装置。 6.静電ろ過手段が二つまたはそれ以上のろ過段を備えることを特徴とする請求 の範囲第1項から第5項のいずれか一項に記載のろ過装置。 7.供給ライン(13)が排気消音箱(15)の出口、または内燃機関に接続さ れた排気マニホールドの出口を受けるようになされた手段(14)を備えること を特徴とする請求の範囲第1項から第6項のいずれか一項に記載のろ過装置。 8.前記受ける手段が、排気消音箱の出口または排気マニホールドの出口を受け るための最も広い部分を有する円錐状ノズルを備えることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第7項に記載の装置。 9.円錐状ノズルの壁に穴が穿孔されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第8項に記 載のろ過装置。 10.排気ガスが、100℃より低い温度にまで、好ましくは80℃に等しいか またはそれより低い温度にまで冷却されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項か ら第9項のいずれか一項に記載のろ過装置。 11.モータビークルに取り付ける手段を備えることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項から第10項のいずれか一項に記載のろ過装置。 12.周囲空気を加えることによって排気ガスを冷却するステップと、静電ろ過 手段を装備したろ過室(10)でこれらの排気ガスをろ過するステップとからな る、内燃機関の排気ガスをろ過する方法であって、排気ガスと周囲空気の流れを ろ過室に引き込むステップと、静電ろ過手段の上流に配置された粗い固体粒子お よび液滴用のフィルタによって排気ガスと周囲空気との混合物をろ過するステッ プとからなることを特徴とする方法。 13.静電ろ過手段から来た排気ガスと周囲空気との混合物も粗い固体粒子およ び液滴用の他のフィルタによってろ過されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第12 項に記載の方法。 14.他のフィルタから来た排気ガスと周囲空気との混合物も活性炭フィルタに よってろ過されることを特徴とする請求の範 囲第13項に記載の方法。 15.請求の範囲第1項から第11項のいずれか一項に記載のろ過装置(1)を 装備したモータビークル(2)。
