Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも約0.05の複屈折率を有する連続相と、分散相と、を含んでなる 組成物を提供する工程であって、該連続相および該分散相のうちの少なくとも一 方の屈折率は配向により調節可能である工程と、 該組成物の拡散反射率が約30%より大きく;しかも該第1および第2の相の屈 折率の差が、3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの第1の軸に沿って約0.05より大き く、かつ3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの第2の軸に沿って約0.05より小さい状 態になるまで、該組成物を配向させる工程と、 を含む光学体の製造方法。 2.前記連続相の複屈折率が少なくとも約0.1である、請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記連続相の複屈折率が少なくとも約0.15である、請求項1記載の方法。 4.前記第1および第2の相の屈折率の差が、3つの互いに直交した軸のうち の第1の軸に沿って約0.1より大きくなるまで、前記組成物を配向させる、請求 項1記載の方法。 5.前記第1および第2の相の屈折率の差が、3つの互いに直交した軸のうち の第1の軸に沿って約0.15より大きくなるまで、前記組成物を配向させる、請求 項1記載の方法。 6.前記第1および第2の相の屈折率の差が、3つの互いに直交した軸のうち の第2の軸に沿って約0.03より小さくなるまで、前記組成物を配向させる、請求 項1記載の方法。 7.前記第1および第2の相の屈折率の差が、3つの互いに直交した軸のうち の第2の軸に沿って約0.01より小さくなるまで、前記 組成物を配向させる、請求項1記載の方法。 8.前記組成物の拡散反射率が約50%より大きくなるまで、前記組成物を配向 させる、請求項1記載の方法。 9.3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの第1の軸に沿って調節可能な屈折率を有 する第1の樹脂を提供する工程と、 第2の樹脂を提供する工程と、 該第2の樹脂を、該第1の樹脂のマトリックス内に分散相として組込む工程と 、 該第1および第2の樹脂の屈折率が、該第1の軸に沿って実質的に一致せず、 かつ3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの第2の軸に沿って実質的に一致する状態に なるまで、該第1の樹脂を該第1の軸に沿って配向させる工程と、 を含む光学フィルムの製造方法。 10.3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの前記第2の軸が、前記フィルムの面に 垂直である、請求項9記載の方法。 11.前記第1の樹脂が一軸延伸される、請求項9記載の方法。 12.前記第1の樹脂が二軸延伸される、請求項9記載の方法。 13.前記第1の樹脂が少なくとも約2の延伸比になるまで延伸される、請求 項9記載の方法。 14.前記第1の樹脂が少なくとも約4の延伸比になるまで延伸される、請求 項9記載の方法。 15.前記第1の樹脂が少なくとも約6の延伸比になるまで延伸される、請求 項9記載の方法。 16.前記第1および第2の樹脂が熱可塑性ポリマーである、請求項9記載の 方法。 17.前記第1および第2の樹脂のうちの少なくとも1つが、ポリエチレンナ フタレート、ポリメタクリレート、シンジオタクチッ クポリスチレン、およびこれらのポリマのアルキル誘導体から成る群より選ばれ たポリマを含む、請求項9記載の方法。 18.前記第2の樹脂の粒子を、前記第1の樹脂全体にわたってランダムに分 散させ、かつ前記マトリックスを少なくとも1つの方向に配向させる、請求項9 記載の方法。 19.3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの第1の軸に沿って調節可能な屈折率を 有する第1の樹脂を提供する工程と、 第2の樹脂を提供する工程と、 該第2の樹脂を、該第1の樹脂のマトリックス内に分散相として組込む工程と 、 (i)該第1および第2の樹脂の屈折率の差の絶対値が、第1の軸に沿ってΔn1 、該第1の軸に直交する第2の軸に沿ってΔn2であり、(ii)Δn1とΔn2との差の 絶対値が少なくとも約0.05であり、更に、(iii)電磁線の少なくとも1つの偏光 成分に対して、少なくとも1つの軸に沿って、該第1および第2の相の全体とし ての拡散反射率が、少なくとも約30%である状態になるまで、該第1の樹脂を該 第1の軸に沿って配向させる工程と、 を含む光学フィルムの製造方法。 20.Δn1とΔn2との差の絶対値が少なくとも約0.1である、請求項19記載 の方法。 21.前記第1の相が前記第2の相よりも大きい複屈折率を有する、請求項1 9記載の方法。 22.前記第1の相の複屈折率が前記第2の相の複屈折率よりも少なくとも0. 02大きい、請求項19記載の方法。 23.前記第1の相の複屈折率が前記第2の相の複屈折率よりも少なくとも0. 05大きい、請求項19記載の方法。 24.少なくとも約0.05の複屈折率を有し、かつ3つの互いに直 交した軸のうちの第1の軸に沿って調節可能な屈折率を有する第1の相を提供す る工程と、 任意の3つの互いに直交した軸のうちの少なくとも2つ軸に沿って不連続であ る第2の相を、該第1の相中に組込む工程と、 (i)該第1および第2の相の屈折率の差の絶対値が、第1の軸に沿ってΔn1、 該第1の軸に直交する第2の軸に沿ってΔn2であり、(ii)Δn1とΔn2との差の絶 対値が少なくとも約0.05であり、更に、(iii)電磁線の少なくとも1つの偏光成 分に対して、少なくとも1つの軸に沿って、該第1および第2の相の全体として の拡散反射率が、少なくとも約30%である状態になるまで、該第1の相を該第1 の軸に沿って配向させる工程と、 を含む光学フィルムの製造方法。
