Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.イオン性充填物が存在する放電空間を囲むセラミック壁を持つ放電管が設け られ、相互距離EAである先端部を有する二つの電極が、前記放電空間内に配置 され、該放電空間は、少なくとも前述の距離EAにわたって内径Diを持つメタ ルハライドランプにおいて、 前記イオン性充填物はヨウ化ナトリウム(NaJ)及びヨウ化セリウム(CeJ3)で あり、EA/Di>5の関係が満たされることを特徴とするメタルハライドラン プ。 2.請求項1に記載のランプにおいて、 前記ランプの前記放電管は、30W/cm2以下の壁負荷値を持つことを特 徴とするランプ。 3.請求項1又は2に記載のランプにおいて、 前記セラミック放電管の前記壁は、少なくとも前述の距離EAにわたって少 なくとも1mmの厚さを持つことを特徴とするランプ。 4.請求項1、2又は3に記載のランプにおいて、 前記NaJ及び前記CeJは、3〜25の範囲内にあるモル比で存在するこ とを特徴とするランプ。 5.請求項1、2、3又は4に記載のランプにおいて、 前記NaJ及び前記CeJは過剰な量で存在し、少なくとも1100Kで大 きくて1500Kの最冷点部温度Tkpが、前記ランプの動作状態において前記 過剰な量の領域において優勢であることを特徴とするランプ。
