Abstract

In un metodo e dispositivo per controllare un carburatore (1) di un motore a combustione interna, il relativo rapporto di miscelazione A/C è automaticamente regolato ad un livello preferito in presenza ed a fronte di varianti condizioni operative. Un mezzo di regolazione (5) viene azionato continuamente da una prima unità di controllo (4) di un primo circuito di controllo (3) così da realizzare un rapporto di miscelazione che si pone in una relazione modificata rispetto alla velocità di rotazione. Un mezzo di regolazione (9) è azionato periodicamente per un breve periodo di tempo da una seconda unità di controllo (7) di un secondo circuito di controllo (6), detta seconda unità di controllo ricevendo informazioni di velocità (8) dal motore (2), in modo da realizzare una variazione di breve durata del rapporto di miscelazione laddove la variazione di velocità di rotazione in tal modo provocata è misurata. In base al risultato ottenuto ed alle informazioni memorizzate, detta seconda unità di controllo (7) esegue una correzione del rapporto di miscelazione regolandolo a gradini di predeterminata entità verso una miscela più povera o più ricca mediante azionamento di un mezzo di regolazione (5). Tale procedura è ripetuta nel secondo circuito di controllo (6) finché la variazione della velocità di rotazione non indica che il rapporto di miscelazione è ad un livello preferito, dopo di che tale regolazione è mantenuta tal quale per un dato periodo di tempo.
