Abstract

Una scala magnetica è formata da una pluralità di parti non magnetiche disposte ad intervalli equidistanti in una direzione assiale su un'asta magnetica che si sposta in direzione assiale. Le parti non magnetiche consistono di prime parti non magnetiche aventi una profondità costante e di seconde parti non magnetiche aventi una diversa profondità. Un sensore magnetico che emette in uscita un segnale in conformità con la variazione di profondità e di posizione delle parti non magnetiche è installato in posizione fissa opposta alla scala magnetica. Sono inoltre forniti un meccanismo per identificare una seconda parte non magnetica che è passata attraverso il sensore magnetico, sulla base dell'uscita del sensore, una memoria per memorizzare individualmente le posizioni assolute delle seconde parti non magnetiche ed un meccanismo per calcolare lo spostamento dell'asta dalla seconda parte non magnetica identificata fino alla sua posizione corrente, sulla base dell'uscita del sensore
