Abstract

L'apparecchio (10) comprende una coppia di piastre sovrapposte (14-15) definenti un vano (13) di ricezione delle banconote, organi (16-17) di afferramento e trascinamento delle banconote, schiere di diodi luminescenti (26 a 29) per illuminare la banconota in successione e con radiazioni a lunghezza d'onda differenziata ed un sensore (30) allo stato solido (C.C.D.) che riceve le immagini lineari risultanti dall'illuminazione selettiva prodotta da ciascuna schiera di diodi. I dati digitalizzati relativi alle immagini lineari acquisite vengono confrontati con corrispondenti dati di campioni veri e falsi ed in base al risultato del confronto la banconota in esame viene accettata o scartata.(Rif. Fig. 2).
