Abstract

Un albero a gomiti per un motore a combustione interna è completamente costruito o semi-costruito con bracci di manovella (2) ed organi a perno (5) uniti mediante accoppiamento a ritiro. Almeno una delle facce di accoppiamento a ritiro è fornita di un materiale di aumento di attrito che può consistere di un rivestimento di nichel o di particelle sostanzialmente più dure del materiale di base del braccio o dell'organo a perno, o di un rivestimento combinato consistente di particelle dure (10) incorporate in una matrice di nichel (11, 12).Il rivestimento di aumento di attrito aumenta la capacità di trasferimento di coppia delle facce di accoppiamento a ritiro in modo che possano venire ridotte le sollecitazioni di ritiro, rendendo così possibile produrre alberi a gomiti con un peso minore.
