Abstract

Per poter produrre economicamente parti sinterizzate fortemente sollecitabili per il comando delle valvole di un motore a combustione interna mediante metallurgia delle polveri alle condizioni della sinterizzazione in fase liquida, si parte da un miscuglio di polveri a base di ferro, che contiene dal 13 al 18% in peso di cromo oppure dal 3 al 6% in peso di molibdeno come componente della lega formante carburo della polvere di ferro nonchè dall'1,5 al 2,6% in peso di carbonio e dallo 0,4 all'1,0% in peso di fosforo, ove la polvere di ferro viene prodotta polverizzando una fusione di ferro corrispondentemente legata con un getto di gas o d'acqua, prima che essa venga mischiata con i rimanenti componenti della polvere.
