Abstract

Procedimento di trattamento termico di oggetti metallici sotto atmosfera di protezione in forno che funziona in modo discontinuo, del tipo in cui, in una fase iniziale di aumento di temperatura, si assicura l'introduzione di una portata di gas di lavaggio contenente sostanzialmente azoto, mentre la fase di raffreddamento viene effettuata sotto una atmosfera contenente prevalentemente un gas dotato di una migliore conducibilità termica rispetto all'azoto, caratterizzato dal fatto che si provoca una sostituzione dell'atmosfera a base di azoto con una atmosfera a base di elio e ciò a partire dal momento in cui l'aumento di temperatura è stato sostanzialmente effettuato.Il gas contenente sostanzialmente elio è una miscela di elio e di idrogeno con un contenuto di idrogeno inferiore al 10%.Applicazione ai forni a campana classici nei quali si impiega azoto, con la condizione di un semplice miglioramento delle guarnizioni di tenuta.
