Abstract

1430305 Inspection chamber WAVIN BV 13 March 1974 [19 March 1973] 13153/73 Heading E1C A cylindrical inspection chamber 1 having a conical base 2 leading to an outlet 16 has a coupling device for a branch sewer comprising a tube 6 clamped to an aperture in the wall of the chamber 1. The clamp action is produced by gripping the wall between a flange 8 on the tube and a flanged sleeve 9 threadedly engaging the tube. A seal 12 interposed between the wall 1 and sleeve 9 has a face shaped to conform to the wall 1. The outer end of the tube 6 is inclined at 2¢‹ to the horizontal. [GB1430305A]
