The end of a pipe 5 is located within the end of a pipe 1 and is adapted to move therein to allow for expansion and contraction of the pipes, the pipes being encircled by ridges 3, 6 between which extends a bellows 7 having upset cuffs 8 lying against and clamped to the ridges by V-band clamping members 9, 10.
