999,547. Waste-traps. KAUTEX PLASTICS Ltd. May 12, 1964 [June 7, 1963], No. 22845/63. Heading E1C. A waste-trap comprises a container 1 for liquid with an open end adapted to receive a removable cover 2 having an inlet 3, e.g. a tube, and an outlet 4, e.g. a tube, for waste liquid, connectible respectively to a sink outlet and a drain pipe, the inlet 3 having a tubular extension 8 projecting into the container 1 at a predetermined axially-spaced distance from the outlet 4. The outer ends of the tubes 3, 4 may have coupling means to connect them to the sink outlet and drainpipe. The cover 2 and container 1 may be in synthetic plastics material and may be mouldings, and the cover at least may be transparent or translucent. A sealing ring 7 is clamped between the container 1 and cover 2.
