1441121 Pipe fittings; pipes PARAGON PLASTICS Ltd 11 March 1974 [22 March 1973] 13963/73 Headings F2G and F2P In a pipe fitting, preferably for use as a waste water outlet trap 10, a plug for blocking a branch connection 16, until it may be required for use in connecting an overflow pipe into the trap, is shaped, at 20, to conform to the curvature of the pipe wall and is arranged not to be fully insertable into connection 16 unless surface 20 is aligned with the pipe wall. Stepped surface 28 fits against annular shoulder 26 and, on turning the plug, the disconformity between these surfaces causes it to rise up out of the connection 16. The fitting may be made of moulded plastics.
