Abstract

1367468 Portable containers AIRFIX INDUSTRIES Ltd 1 Feb 1972 [30 March 1971] 8168/71 Heading B8D [Also in Division B5] A container comprises a peripheral wall 1 of flexible sheet material, an injection moulded end portion defining a passage and incorporating a portion 2 of the sheet material, and injection moulded seam means integral with the end portion and uniting juxtaposed free edges of the sheet material. In the example shown the blank 1, 2 seen in Fig. 1, is inserted in the mould 4, 5 shown in Fig. 2, and soft PVC injected through an inlet 12. Channels 11 in one or both mould parts 4, 5 form the seams joining the free edges of the blank. The portion 2 of the blank may be apertured at 3, or it may be unapertured, to be ruptured by the user. The blank may be of plastics or metal foil, paper, board, and laminated or coated. [GB1367468A]
