Abstract

1518307 Collapsible tubes TAISEI KAKO CO 11 Sept 1975 37376/75 Heading B8D [Also in Division B5] A tubular container has a metal outer tube 32 and an inner tube 31 of a thermoplastic resin with a plastics rim which may or may not be extended to form a screw-threaded neck 27. In the rim is embedded a diverging portion 44 of the inner tube thereby preventing contact between the outer metal tube and the contents. The portion 28 of the neck has a number of vertical grooves 33 to form a secure connection between the neck and the outer tube. The rim is formed by a moulding operation, see Division B5.
