Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Futterhefe und/oder Aethylalkohol aus pflanzlichen Abfallstoffen, cellulosehaltigen Materialien pflanzlichen Ursprungs (z.B. auch Papier) und landwirtschaftlichen Abfaellen. Erfindungsgemaess werden die Abfaelle mit verduennter Mineralsaeure und/oder verduennter Lauge in der Waerme vorbehandelt und dann mit dem am 23. September 1980 unter der Nr. CU 28 00199 bei der Ungarischen Nationalen Stammsammlung (OKI) hinterlegten Stamm Candida utilis var. cellulolytica in an sich bekannter Weise fermentiert. Nimmt man die Fermentierung unter aeroben Bdingungen vor, so entsteht Futterhefe, die nach dem Abfiltrieren oder unmittelbar durch Zerstaeubungstrocknung getrocknet werden kann. Wird unter anaeroben Bedingungen fermentiert, so entsteht Aethylalkohol, waehrend eine Fermentierung unter maessiger Belueftung (max. 1 mg Otief 2/1) dazu fuehrt, dass Futterhefe und Aethylalkohol gleichzeitig entstehen.
