Claims (17)

1. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen, koji se specifično vezuje za receptor programirane smrti-1 (PD-1) ili ligand programirane smrti-1 (PD-L1) i inhibira PD-1 aktivnost za primjenu u postupku liječenja subjekta koji je pogođen tumorom izvedenim iz raka glave i vrata karcinoma skvamoznih stanica (SCCHN) pozitivnog na humani papiloma virus (HPV) koji obuhvaća administriranje subjektu terapijski efikasne količine antitijela ili njegovog dijela koji veže antigen, pri čemu je subjekt identificiran kao HPV pozitivan.
2. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 1, pri čemu HPV-pozitivni SCCHN obuhvaća tumor koji eksprimira jedan ili više proteina izvedenih iz HPV ili obuhvaća nukleotidnu sekvencu koja kodira jedan ili više proteina.
3. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 2, pri čemu jedan ili više proteina izvedenih iz HPV obuhvaćaju p16, Ki-67, ciklin D1, p53, ProEx C, E6, E7, ili bilo koju njihovu kombinaciju.
4. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 3, pri čemu HPV obuhvaća HPV podtip 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, ili bilo koju njihovu kombinaciju.
5. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 4, pri čemu više od oko 70% tumorskih stanica pokazuje snažno i difuzno nuklearno i citoplazmatsko bojenje imunohistokemijom protiv p16.
6. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 5, pri čemu tumor dalje eksprimira PD-L1.
7. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 6, pri čemu antitijelo je kimerno, humanizirano ili humano monoklonsko antitijelo ili njegov dio.
8. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 7, pri čemu antitijelo obuhvaća konstantnu regiju teškog lanca koji je od humanog IgG1 ili IgG4 izotipa.
9. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 8, pri čemu antitijelo je nivolumab ili pembrolizumab.
10. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 9, pri čemu antitijelo se administrira u dozi od najmanje oko 3 mg/kg tjelesne težine ili 240 mg jednom na svaka 2 tjedna.
11. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 8, pri čemu antitijelo specifično vezuje PD-L1.
12. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 11, pri čemu antitijelo je odabrano iz grupe koja se sastoji od MPDL3280A, durvalumaba, i avelumaba.
13. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 12, pri čemu postupak dalje obuhvaća administriranje jednog ili više dodatnih agenasa protiv raka.
14. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 13, pri čemu agens protiv raka je odabran iz grupe koja se sastoji od antitijela ili njegovog dijela koji se vezuje za antigen, koji se specifično vezuje za CTLA-4 i inhibira CTLA-4 aktivnost, kemoterapije, dvostruke kemoterapije na bazi platine, inhibitora tirozin kinaze, anti-VEGF inhibitora, ili bilo koje njihove kombinacije.
15. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema bilo kojem od patentnih zahtjeva 1 do 14, pri čemu subjekt je primio jedan ili više agenasa protiv raka prije administriranja antitijela.
16. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 15, pri čemu jedan ili više agenasa protiv raka nisu bili efikasni u liječenju tumora.
17. Antitijelo ili njegov dio koji se vezuje za antigen za primjenu prema patentnom zahtjevu 16, pri čemu jedan ili više agenasa protiv raka obuhvaćaju terapiju na bazi platine.
