[Also in Division B8] In a harvesting machine having a conduit 11 through which the crop is discharged on to a separate collecting vehicle, the conduit is formed with an auxiliary discharge aperture. 20 in its rear wall closable from the outside by a pivoted flap 47. A guide wall 53, 54 bolted to the front wall 29 of the conduit closes off the normal discharge opening of the conduit and directs the crop through the aperture 20, spreading guides 63 and swathing guides 64 being adjustably secured to the guide wall. The flap 47 may be hinged to the upper edge of the aperture 20 and form part of the guide wall.
