Abstract
897,337. Thrashing machines. CLAAS, H. Aug. 26, 1960 [Sept. 5, 1959], No. 29615/60. Class 6(3). In a thrashing machine there are provided behind the beater drum 15 and adjacent thrasher concave 16, two drums 17, 18 which rotate in the same sense as the beater drum and a grating 19 which extends beneath the drums 17, 18 between the thrasher concave and the straw shaker 20. The rear drum 18 may be driven at a lower peripheral velocity than the drum 17 and may be displaceable to a parallel position.
