Abstract

A textile fabric bag or envelope 4, adapted to fit over plating anode baskets 5, has two lengths of beading 7, in parallel relationship secured lengthwise thereto, and a clip member 9 which is adapted to embrace the two lengths of beading to draw the same together, and with <PICT:0988312/C6-C7/1> them the fabric of the envelope, to tighten it around the basket. The envelope may be provided with a gusset 6, the beading being located at the points 8 of connection of the gusset to the envelope. The clip 9 is of tubular shape with a longitudinal slot 10 therein, which clip is slid over the pair of beading members 7, the inturned edges 11 of the clip engaging the underpart of the beadings to draw them together. The beading members may be of cord, flexible plastic or a suitable rigid material.
