Abstract

490,354. Baths. LUTTERMOLLER, H. Feb. 21, 1938, No. 5451. [Class 26] A lateral body-supporting arrangement for converting a bath-tub into a regulatable vapour bath comprises widely spaced flexible members adapted to be supported at their ends so that they extend longitudinally and transversely or in both directions at the mouth of the bath. The belts c, Fig. 1, may be attached to rubber protected clips d, fitting over the edge of the bath, and may be sewn together at their intersections. The clips support arches e adapted to carry a covering of oiled linen, rubber, or the like. Alternatively the ends of the belts are looped, or the clips d may be used, and through the loops are threaded the tubular side and end members h<1>, h2, Fig. 3, which are detachably joined by U-sockets i and to T- shaped sectional members h<3> which support the frame in the bath. Sockets are provided for the arches e.
