Abstract

The invention relates to a device facilitating the use of bathtubs by handicapped persons. This device comprises a seat consisting of an underframe 1 on which is mounted a stool 2 extended by a footrest 2a connected to the underframe 1 by means of a tilting shaft 3 securely attached to a pivoting shaft 4, of a screw 5 and of a nut 6, as well as two safety handrails 7 and 8 fastened by clips 9 to two crosspieces 10 and 11 supported by tubular supports 12 fastened to the bathtub. Applications: bathroom accessory for handicapped or elderly persons.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif facilitant l'utilisation des baignoires par les personnes handicapées. The present invention relates to a device facilitating the use of bathtubs by disabled people.

Les personnes handicapées et en particulier, les personnes très Bgées appréhendent de prendre leur bain en raison des difficultés qu'elles rencontrent pour entrer et sortir de la baignoire et des risques de glissades dues à l'utilisation du savon, meme lorsque la baignoire est munie d'un tapis anti-dérapant.
