[Also in Groups I and XVII] An elongated bag for enclosing the anode of an electroplating apparatus is adapted to be fastened over the anode and has an open lower end and releasable closure means for this end. As shown in Fig. 1, an anode 18 is enclosed in a bag 24 of heavy closely - woven material, the lower end of which is folded around a rod 28, Fig. 4, the rod with the folded part being fitted within a resilient tubular sleeve 30 provided with a slot 32. The slot is tapered to facilitate assembly of the closure means.
