Abstract

986,810. Hydraulic pumps. WEATHERHEAD CO. Feb. 15, 1962, No. 5851/62. Heading F1A. In a pump having a sliding cylinder block 10 with a number of axially arranged cylinders 17 therein, chambers 60, 70, on opposite sides of the block are filled with fluid at inlet pressure and interconnected by a restricted passage 61 whereby the movement of the cylinder is damped. The construction of the pump and control of the cylinder block is similar to that described in Specification 977,515. The restriction of the passage 61 is adjusted by means of an adjustable plug 64. Specification 952,203 also is referred to.
