Abstract

1436272 Fluid-pressure servomotor systems LAMBORGHINI OLEODINAMICA SpA 8 Jan 1974 00862/74 Heading G3P In a hydraulic control apparatus in which there is a constant volume of trapped fluid between pistons 3 and 7 so that the position of the piston 7 corresponds to that of a handle 12, the actuating pressure applied to a space 36 above the piston 3 is automatically adjusted to oppose movement of the piston 7. The space 36 communicates through a passage 35 with a chamber 29 connected with a supply port 18 and with a drain 10 through a throttling passage 34. If the pressure applied to the space 6 by the piston 7 increases, the piston 3 tends to move upwardly and reduce the passage 34 and thus increase the pressure in the space 36 to oppose movement of the piston 7. Springs 16, 17 bias the piston to its central position, and in the position shown, the space 6a is connected to drain through a passage 9a. Movement of the handle 12 to the right of centre causes corresponding displacement of the piston 7.
