Abstract
986,762. Transportable skip hoisting; feeding skips. WIBAU WESTDEUTSCHE INDUSTRIEUND STRASSENBAU-MASCHINEN G.m.b.H. Sept. 25, 1961 [Sept. 23, 1960], No. 34201/61. Headings B8E and B8H. A mobile skip hoist, particularly for handling a prepared bituminous mix for road-making, is shown in the working position in Fig. 2, and in the travelling position in Fig. 1. The erectable frame 1 is attached to a hopper 2 and serves as a guide for a skip 3 which raises material from a mixer 8. Telescopic struts 4 are pivotally attached to the hopper 2. Hydraulic ram 5 swings the assembly from the working to the travelling position about the axis 6 in which position a trolley 14 with a swivelling bolster is attached to the hopper.
