876,645. Mine cages and skip hoists. RHYMNY ENGINEERING CO. Ltd., and MARTINS, T. April 23, 1958 [April 30, 1957], No. 13752/57. Classes 78 (3) and 78 (4). A platform for carrying men or tubs can be carried on guides 20 in the skip 1 of a skip hoist. In the form illustrated the platform is mounted on wheels 17 and is located by a fixed stop 12 and a gravity-biased stop 14 retracted manually or by power. The platform carries rails for tubs, and catches 19. The skip also contains a permanent platform 6 of such a size as not to intefere with its use for carrying material and fitted with a removable fence H.
