838,244. Guided skip hoists. A.C.E. MACHINERY Ltd. Nov. 13, 1958 [Nov. 14, 1957], No. 35534/57. Class 78 (3). The bucket 1 of a guided skip hoist is tipped automatically by the engagement of a ramp 10 with a stationary spring-loaded abutment 7, and the speed of tipping is controlled by a dashpot 5, 6. A further ramp 13 and pivot 12 are provided for tipping in a direction opposite to that shown, the dashpot then being connected between lugs A and B.
