[Also in- Division B8] A flap valve for releasing dust from a separator against the action of a higher gas pressure, comprises a tube 2, Fig. 2, of elastic material shaped to form a flat elastically closed end, the valve passage being divided into two parallel passages 5, 5 by a sheet 4 of stiff material. The valve is enclosed in a casing 7 to which the sheet 4 is attached at its lower end by tongues 6, Fig. 1 (not shown).
