A manifolding writing set comprises writing sheets a 1 -a 5 and interleaved carbon sheets b 1 -b 4 , the latter having a continuous coat of ink from top to bottom, stopping short of one side edge of the writing sheets and having an uninked margin projecting beyond the edges of the writing sheets at the opposite side edge, each carbon sheet being glued at e 1 -e 8 to the writing sheet lying immediately above in the region of the head strip extending transversely to said side edges, the projecting margins of the carbon sheets and the writing sheets each being glued together at i 1 . . i 3 and d 1 -d 4 respectively, in the region of the head strip. The writing and carbon sheets are provided with a line of perforations g below the head strip. The projecting margins of the carbon sheets may also be glued together below the head strip. The intermediate writing sheets a 3 -a 5 and the carbon sheets b 1 -b 4 are provided with co-operating cut-out portions c in the region of the head strip by means of which the top and bottom writing sheets a 1 and a 2 are secure together directly by glue spots f 1 -f 3 . At least one of the outer writing sheets may comprise a continuous web to which the individual sets are secured, one behind the other.
