A manifolding unit wherein writing sheets a 1 , a 2 and interleaved carbon sheets b 1 are connected together at a head strip by spots of adhesive g and each writing sheet has a line of perforations c 1 adjacent the head strip, the carbon sheets being unperforated, is characterized in that the carbon sheets are smaller in width than the writing sheets and stop short of at least one longitudinal edge d of the unit, whereby the writing sheets are separated from the unit by gripping the head strip in one hand and the marginal edge d in the other and pulling apart, the carbon sheets remaining attached to the head strip. The writing sheets are provided with filing perforations e 1 , e 2 along the edge d and the carbon sheets are free from ink in the region of the head strip to facilitate gluing.
