A memorandum pad comprises a plurality of pages 1 fastened together along the centre of the pages by means of staples 6 or the like, the pages being perforated along the lines 2, to define a centre strip, and along the lines 3, to provide a plurality of subsections 5 individually detachable from the pad. The pad may be provided with a stiff cardboard backing, and each subsection 5 may carry an advert.
