Abstract

898,484. Manifolding stationery. GRAPHIC TECHNOLOGY Ltd. March 3, 1959 [Feb. 21, 1958], No. 5629/58. Class 16 A set of superposed stationery sheets having a line of tear-off perforations 3 near one edge is bound together by lines of adhesive 5 arranged transversely to said line of perforations, the width of the lines of adhesive being small so as to have negligible interference with the curving of the set about the roller of a typewriter or like machine. Copy sheets 1 and interleaved carbon transfer sheets 4, having treated or untreated marginal portions which stop short of sprocket holes 2 in said copy sheets, are bound together by spaced, broken or continuous, lines of adhesive 5 on the front or back face of one copy sheet 1 adhering to the transfer and copy sheets immediately above or below, respectively. The sprocket holes 2 and lines of adhesive 5 are provided along one or both side edges of the copy sheets. Separate lines of adhesive may be used to bind the transfer sheets in position and to secure adjacent copy sheet together.
