Abstract

1,028,246. Manifolding stationery. MAXLOVE " CONTINUOUS Ltd." Jan. 24, 1963 [Feb. 8, 1962], No. 4925/62. Heading B6A. Three superposed stationery strips 10, 11, 12 folded in zig-zag fashion about lines of perforations 16 to form sets of record sheets, and having a row of feed holes 15 down one edge, are secured together by laterally offset longitudinal glue lines 20, 21 parallel to the line of feed holes 15. As shown, the top strip 10 is narrower than the other strips and has no feed holes 15 therein, and is glued to the second strip along the glue line 21. The two lower strips are glued together along the glue line 20 between the feed holes and the entrance edges. All three strips are perforated on a line 22. The strips may be chemically treated or carbonized, or carbon strips may be interleaved therewith, to that information typed on the top strip will be copied on the other strips. In a modification wherein four superposed strips are used, the top strip and the bottom strip are secured to the intervening strips by glue lines which are superposed but are offset from'the glue line between the intervening strips.
