Abstract

1,058,635. Manifolding stationery. JOHN WADDINGTON Ltd. Oct. 1, 1963 [Aug. 21, 1962], No. 32011/62. Headings B6A and B6P. Continuous form stationery consisting of at least two superimposed lengths 1, 2 of paper, and preferably separated by a length 3 of carbon paper, are secured together by a longitudinal row of equidistantly spaced tabs 1A, 2A, 3A formed by punching the paper and causing the tabs punched from the paper to fan out on the lower face of the bottom length 2 of paper, and by subsequently folding the tabs in a superimposed manner against the length 2 of paper. A reciprocating or a rotary punch may be used, the punch having a rectangular cross-section, with a chisel-shaped leading edge.
